Hailing from the beautiful island nation of St. Kitts and Nevis, Miláno Welcome is a self-taught visual artist who thrives on using vibrant colours and exploring various expressive forms. Fueled by a childhood surrounded by art and captivating landscapes, Miláno's artistic journey began at a young age. Intrigued by the power of art to communicate ideas and evoke emotions, Miláno relentlessly pursued mastery in painting, mixed-media, and graphic design. Miláno's artistic exploration has encompassed everything from sculpting and glasswork to murals and airbrushing. 

Today, Miláno brings his wealth of experience to life at Miláno's Art Studio, where he serves as owner, artist, and lead instructor.  Miláno's semi-realism style, characterized by bold colours, textured elements, and a fusion of mediums, shines through in his work and collaborative approach to commissioned pieces.

The co-owner and administrative manager of Milano's Art Studio, Anique brings to our team a wealth of experience and a passion for education. Her background in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) fuels her focus on creating well-structured art classes that foster practical application of skills, perfect for students eager to develop their artistic talents. Anique's expertise in Learning Technologies ensures our lessons are engaging and informative. While her knowledge of Textile Manipulation adds a unique dimension to our curriculum, particularly for those interested in exploring fibre arts. Affectionately known as Ms. O, Anique has over a decade of experience teaching and mentoring students, fostering their creativity and confidence inside and outside the classroom.
